Message I know that one time I was driving in mild rain and the car drove just fine. Stopped at a service plaza on the Turnpike for 40 minutes while it continued to rain, and when I tried to leave the car would barely idle. I had never experienced any problems off boost, but this time I could barely get the car going. I was 100 miles from home and thought I was stuck. Got the car up to speed barely with black smoke pouring out of the tailpipes, and after 30 minutes of driving in sunshine it went back to normal. Almost wrecked the Florida Z Car Meet in Orlando for me.
